Technical Key Account Manager (m/f/d) Brazil

We are looking for a Technical Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for:

Job Location:   Homeoffice Brazil
Type of Job:     Freelance 
Date of Entry:  Immediately

• Liaise with local organizations, e.g. authorities, retailers, producers or producer organizations, NGOs, etc. for the promotion of the company´s activities
• Represent GLOBALG.A.P. at events, trade shows, conferences, and other meetings to create and strengthen relationships

• Provide technical support on global, as well as local tasks on request (e.g. National Interpretation Guidelines, guidance documents, combined audit tools, training programs, etc.)

• Respond to technical questions from growers, certification bodies, farm assurers, and other stakeholders regarding the implementation and certification of the GLOBALG.A.P. Standards
• Support and follow up on complaints and integrity issues

• Achieve and maintain a thorough technical proficiency in the Standard system in order to serve GLOBALG.A.P. as a trainer and technical expert
• Organize and deliver formal public and private trainings to growers, farm assurers, and others in collaboration with the head office

• Periodical reporting of market situation in the region: opportunities, developments, etc.

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree required in food, agriculture or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of agricultural standard systems and certification in the areas of food safety, environmental sustainability, and social accountability, particularly for crops
• Knowledge in aquaculture is an advantage
• Training in the areas of HACCP, food hygiene, plant protection, fertilizer, and IPM desired

• Languages: Native speaker of portuguese. Good knowledge of English is essential to communicate within the worldwide network, other regional language beneficial
• Ability to communicate effectively with growers, the public sector, and others in the agricultural and food industry
• Driven to achieve the highest quality in daily work and constantly improve customer satisfaction

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the agricultural industry
• Strong applied technical background in agriculture related to crops
• Experience in consultancy and/or good agricultural practices implementation beneficial

• High flexibility to travel extensively
• Driver’s license is necessary
