Project Manager (m/f/d) Translations & Document Quality

FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing. FoodPLUS GmbH also serves as the legal entity holding the international copyrights for GLOBALG.A.P. and GGN label (the consumer label initiative linked with GLOBALG.A.P. standards).
For our Translations & Document Quality team we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) in full-time (39 h/week) to start immediately.What you will do
- Manage the whole proofreading/translation process
- Prepare and follow-up on translation projects into various languages incl. project/job creation and quality assurance checks in translation management tool
- Create, expand, and maintain translation memories and termbases
- Ensure consistent translation of terminology and overall text quality on the basis of existing writing rules, incl. layout
- Ensure high text quality in English texts with respect to terminology and layout and on the basis of a style guide
- Finalize the layout of normative documents and check layouts of other documents according to our corporate design
What we are looking for
- Degree in multilingual communication or equivalent
- 2-3 years of practical experience of project management in a field related to linguistics and in CAT tools (preferably Memsource/Phrase)
- Proficiency in English (C1 level), knowledge of further languages (especially German) is a benefit
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Very strong sense for attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and adhere to predefined schedules/deadlines
- Very good planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
