We are immediately looking for a Customer Support Agent focusing on IT issues in full-time (39 h/week). Our Customer Support Team is responsible for the professional interaction with our valued customers (B2B and B2C) via mail, phone or face-to-face when they have questions or concerns, always following a friendly and helpful approach. Serving as the voice and face of our company, you will be integral to reinforce our reputation for excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage client requests with regards to IT topics via a ticket system in an efficient manner
  • Provide expert answers and technical support for our clients regarding the usage of our software and products
  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face trainings to showcase how our database and other software solutions work
  • Deal with customer queries about the functional scope of our SOAP/XML and REST APIs (published at https://api-doc.globalgap.org/) and troubleshoot errors
  • Utilize and contribute to FAQ documentation to enable internal knowledge sharing
  • Maintain daily recordings, e. g. logging and documenting issues in our systems

Your profile

  • Vocational training in a job-relevant field
  • 1-2 years of work experience in the area of 1st level customer support (API support or similar)
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong IT affinity as well as high interest in agriculture and food safety
  • Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
  • Customer-first mentality with inner motivation to solve problems and alleviate conflicts
  • Ability to work independently and as well within a team, according to priorities and timings
